Eyedea MedTech’s mission is to inspire and equip medical device innovators with the knowledge, confidence, and practical insight needed to transform ideas into life-changing technologies.

About Us

Eyedea MedTech is a specialist medical technology education and consultancy organisation based out of Mayo, Ireland. Founded in 2019, we support MedTech professionals worldwide by delivering practical, hands-on training and expert insight in minimally invasive device design and R&D.
Focused particularly on advanced catheter technologies and minimally invasive devices, our workshops, bespoke training, and technical resources help engineers and organisations accelerate development, reduce risk, design for efficient manufacturing, and innovate with confidence. At Eyedea MedTech, we’re committed to building a smarter, more capable MedTech workforce—driving better outcomes through better design.

In the West of Ireland

Westport is a world-renowned vacation spot located in the west of Ireland that offers a blend of documented heritage and lively contemporary culture. As a planned Georgian town, its distinctive layout and tree-lined streets are well noted in Irish architectural history. Paired with its quaint but lively atmosphere and Irish culture, if the live traditional music isn’t of interest to you, the scenery will be. Positioned on Clew Bay neighbouring 365 islands and between the beautiful mountain ranges of the west, including Croagh Patrick, named after Saint Patrick —Westport provides easy access to coastal scenery, walking routes, and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Many visitors and locals describe the town centre as vibrant, with independent shops, cafés, and regular cultural activity contributing to its atmosphere. Combined with its walkability and proximity to outdoor recreation, Westport is often seen as a place that balances history, community, and natural beauty.
